To start, you should know that I find myself hilarious and if one person laughs at a joke, that is enough to keep me telling it for all eternity.
Like many children, I was born. And then…
I’ve been some places, I’ve done some things. Life’s been interesting, fun, and I’ve been very lucky. Hosting trivia started for me back in 2016 at Sawdust City Brewery in Gravenhurst because I wouldn’t stop talking so they gave me a microphone, and as of November 2024, I’ve hosted over 750 events, both online and in person, for all kinds of people and companies.
My career path is best described as non-linear. I grew up in Uxbridge, Ontario and attended Uxbridge Secondary School, which was one of the backdrops for the 2000 classic movie Gossip, starring Kate Hudson and Joshua Jackson. I have a History degree from the University of Ottawa (and am finally sort of putting it to use). I spent ten years working in the corporate sports world in Calgary. I was the sales manager for one of Ontario’s best craft breweries. My most recent real job was as the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce in Gravenhurst, Ontario, and I’ve done lots of fun stuff in between as I figure life out.
I’ve been fortunate to travel a lot. I’ve been fortunate to call some wonderful places home, and I’ve got some of the best friends a fella could ask for - some of them are pushing four decades putting up with me. And there’s this little blonde curly person who is my absolute favourite human in the world.

I currently live in Gravenhurst, so I’m easily accessible to the GTA, and I’m willing to travel anywhere for great events!

I’m a big fan of pop culture, music, sports, and random information. I get caught down rabbit holes researching things all the time.
Also, I try to capture the spirit of every event I’m part of, so be ready for that.

Other Things I Do:
I wear a lot of hats. Figuratively, and also in real life. I think the “wearing a hat all the time” thing comes from a childhood fear of turning into a mannequin without one. Thanks for that, Today’s Special.
I’ve been called a “serial entrepreneur” and told “you do too many things,” which are both accurate statements, but I like taking swings in life.
